Puerto Natales: the night before the park
What to expect from the last full-service town before Torres del Paine.
Puerto Natales concentrates lodging, gear rental and transport to the park. Its cooking combines produce from Última Esperanza Sound with estancia lamb and supplies trucked in from Punta Arenas, about three hours away.
Seasonality is sharper than in the regional capital. Outside the austral summer part of the offer shortens hours or closes, which makes confirming ahead more useful than choosing the venue.
